it's time to grow up.
after mugging with albsie (how rare!), and on the bus ride home. It just occured to me. Today, some events happened. But its time to grow up. Its not that i don't wanna be reliant on my friends. I think its high time i stop whining. I whine as though im the only person in the world with problems like that. Time to stop. Time to.. Stop thinking that.. Things can be like old times. It's not. I have been in denial for a good amount of time. Its time to stop. Time's are different. We are growing up. We have our own lives to lead. Its okay to discuss our lives together when we're together. but when we part ways, we're gonna lead our own lives. Thats that. No matter how much our lives were so intertwined, how close we used to be.. We're not anymore. We laugh, we joke when we meet. But the truth is... The more i hang on, the more i pull.. It pushes itself away. This friendship. The tighter i grab, the further this friendship goes. Its time.. To let go. I'll still organise outings. But not so ... Crazily already. Haha. Its tiring trying to hold on. Its like in Titanic.. even if you managed to grab a piece of floating plank and as much as you have to hold on to it for your dear life, holding on is tiring. It is. And when you can't see the rescue boats, the hppe diminishes, holding on feels more like a burden than a ray of hope. Yeah. Shirley, grow up. We're not in neverland. we're not. It's harsh. no one said it won't be. So yeah. Ok. Gonna shower soon.. nights.
