all the chinese new year goodies!!the guests started coming at 1pm. ended up about 30plus relatives coming, both from my mum's and dad's side. so funny. i played monopoly deal with my cousins. v funny lor. finally gotta mix my dad and mum's side together! it was pretty fun. at first i thought i shouldn't gamble this year, but what is the cny spirit if not for the gambling. plopped my ass at the blackjack table.. hahaha.. with about 10 people (mostly the wives of my relatives and daddy) all gathered to play blackjack. the poor husbands can only sit around and watch (sometimes pretty bad) chinese new year movies while my dad keeps making them eat all our snacks and drink all the beer! hahahaha!! then the blackjack table started talking about marriage and youngsters these days. in the past, it used to be "wa, nowadays youngsters get attached so young uh!" but now its, "alot of youngsters are not getting married these days uh. they should.. its very good to have a family.." LOL! big big contrast! me and lorraine merely giggled. lol! then my ahyi started asking if i had any guy friends and if i had a boyfriend! lol! of course i said no. even if i did have one, i would have said no also. cus if i was confident enough, i would have brought him home. but yup.. zilch! played blackjack from 1pm to 11.30pm (not me, but the relatives). then my young cousin, gilbert.. he's so cuteeee! but he keeps taking shane the tortoise and pulling off its boxers and using it to beat people. lol! but he's v sensible. he'll open the door for the adults.. he'll serve u tea when u're at his place without being told. but he eats a lot. he ate like 5 slices of pizza or something on top of all the coke he drank! lol! but he's so fucking adorable! hahahha. i rlly love him. in the end, i gave him my mr bean teddy bear which he really loves. lol!! but he said that he's scared his mum will scold him! lol! so i had to talk to his parents about letting him keep the bear! actually i pity gilbert. cus when i was 10 (his age), i had loads of cousins to play with cus we're all about the same age. but come his time, he has barely a few cousins of this age since he's among the youngest. i remember playing with him when he was just a baby. v cute as a baby. and v cute now! oh gosh! he's so cute i overlooked the fact that he jumped on my new sheets with his socks on. and him trying to undress all my teddies. hahahha! then i went home with lorraine to sleepover where i watched scary movie 2. bloody stupid show. oh! anyway, i played "ip man" during cny and all the husbands and the young children had their eyes glued to the screen! so nice!! loved it! so nice to see so many people indulge in such a wonderful movie like ip man! so appropriate for chinese new year.
the girls!then yesterday, we headed to martin's place for mahjong and kinect. me and nei reached early so we headed for some supermarket shopping since there really isn't much to hang around in clementi. then we went to buy yu sheng and salmon sashimi plus extra crackers! haahha. then martin came and picked us up where we headed to great world city for lunch. had lunch and then we headed back where we lao the yu sheng! made a big mess!! but it was so funny cus we took turns to pour the ingredients in and we ran out of things to say. hahahah! then we promised martin we wont make a mess but we still did! lol!

kinect!!! lol! martin dancing. have got more pictures with anita!so after we cleaned up, we took some pics and it was mahjong time! since there was 4 of us, the 2 of them - anita and hong choo played with kinect first. it looked super fun that it made mahjong look un-fun! lol!! then we kept being distracted lol! but anyway, i won $7 in total, although no one paid me my winnings yet! humph!! hahaha!! first time did a ping hu in my life! then we were so tempted to play kinects, we merely mj-ed for an hour. then we played kinects! so fun! but now, my muscles are aching like hell due to the intensive jumping and running and waving! lol! there was some adventure game where we had to keep jumping .. or flapping our arms to fly. and there was the dancing game where we had to do square jazz.. and v funny and crazy dance moves to "poker face". lol, perhaps the next time you go clubbing and you see a bunch of weirdos dancing in synchronization, it could be us! LOL! v funny lor! then martin's parents ask us to go to his godma's place for dinner. so yummy, the pork! LOL! i ate alot of that. and i drank soup from this harmless bowl ... and i scalded my tongue so badly, it still feels numb till now! the consequences of being too greedy. then we all watched "ai" where we discussed extensively the plot with martin's family also. lol!! v funny. nei was super bored though since he doesn't follow. then we went back to his place and played somemore dance battle! lol!! we battled against each other! lol! then martin drove us to eat u.d.d.e.r.s at novena. mmmmmmmmmmmm, yummeh! i had vanilla with honeycombs or something. then we just chatted. and i can't believe this but martin sent each of us home! LOL! from novena, we went to yishun to send nathan off. then headed to pasir ris to send the girls off. and then to my place and then martin went back to clementi. took 2 hours to get us home lor! cus we all didnt know which highway etc to take! but v appreciate it la, martin. and he had alcohol in his ice cream!!! X: oh well. that's it then! that's it for the fun on the year! back to fucking studies. gahhhhhhh! so so lazy to get started man.. but well, i have to. because theres.a.test.tomorrow.and.i.havent.started.studying.
